Clean Water Cistern Construction

-
A drought is upon us and extra spring water from Opal House is going to be captured with a new 18,000 gallon cistern. A submersible pump will send the water 400 vertical feet to a new avocado irrigation site as well as supply future water for potential housing on the elevated North side of the farm. Expansion of the existing clean water cistern at the house is also needed to accommodate guests, the school, and farm needs. Update Dec 2015 – One new cistern with new submersible pump has been installed. Second cistern with ozonator at upper house location needs to be built and installed with 5k in new donations.
